PKD and immune system

HI,

I was first diagnosed with PKD when I was 15, until I was around 30 PKD didn't cause me any problems, but when I got pregnant everything changed, I started to have really high blood pressure and I was swelling so much I couldn't believe it is possible. My child needed to be born 3 months before time, because I had blood pressure 210/150 and HBP medication that pregnant women can take didn't work on me. Now my blood pressure is more or less under control, all my blood and urine tests done by my nephrologists are fine but I am non stop sick. This winter is considered mild but I have been sick 6 or 7 times, including pneumonia, I took 5 rounds of antibiotics and I am sick again. Is there any relation between PKD and poor immune system?

Please help.
